Now that Donald Duke has thrown up his weight towards 2019 What Next?
The 2019 General elections is around the corner and the list of presidential candidates are growing large as the day passes by.. my concern over the the Zoning policies which the parties have adopted is thus:
The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) have agreed that whoever emerges from the Big Umbrella will Only run for one term and relinquish power to the East. The All progressive Congress (APC) has wants the North to compete for a second term and shift the rotation policy towards the South East region.
Now that The cross River state born political heavyweight has declared his intention to occupy the hot seat in Abuja.
What next?
Donald Duke is a popular figure in the South South politics but can he translate his popularity into the National scene? Given the Coalition led by Former military Head of state and Former president Chief Olusegun Obasanjo and his close relationship with Donald Duke and his antecedent for wining elections with his large fleet of supporters and loyalists. Will his Support for DD have an impact in the outcome of 2019 elections or is it another plot to thwart Atiku's bid? Will it in turn if he emerges have any effect on the rotation policy as he may not just run for one term? Will it further delay the 2023 Ibo president? What do you think this development means to the South East?

To me, Donald Duke has what it takes to become the chosen president for Nigeria as a country so far. My challenge is how to convince the northerner to see the good in the man vision for the betterment of Nigeria and its economy. No sentiment attached.
ReplyDeleteMy brother that's just the problem, how will the north see these huge reasons of making Duke President
