Marycollette Matiki an OGOJA born writer and an SM fanatics send a strong message to her future husband..

You must read this....

Dear Future Husband,
Merry Christmas, Happy New Year, Happy Valentine's Day, Happy Easter and every other holiday I did not write to you.

I miss you and writing to you. A lot has happened since I wrote to you, from clocking the big silver jubilee age, to a sweet attempt at adding good weight *this is the point where most of my friends will laugh or roll their eyes*.

Most times, I wrote to you in my head, other times I was too busy building myself, dealing with life and change, to remember you. It got to a point where reality scared me from writing to you, but I am back and I hope it is for good.

How body? Should I go on with our routine questions? Our beards nko? I have a confession sef, I no longer looooooove them. I just love them now.

Today, I'm writing about the gospel according to Banky W and Adesua's engagement and the beautiful place called FRIENDZONE.

You see, Banky W saw Adesua, liked her and instantly knew he wanted to spend forever with her. He dived into her dm (direct message) and I guess, started the process of being her friend first, not her "husband to be." It took her almost two years of being friends to see what he saw, feel what he felt and accepted to spend forever with him.

I guess you are wondering why am I stressing on these details, the answer is PATIENCE. The friend zone is not as bad as you think or the internet paints it to be. Wonderful happens there if it is utilised wisely and not abused.
Wonderful things like friendship, trust and respect.

If there's anything I have learnt about marriage from observation, reading and unlearning, it is that, when the mushy-mushy feeling of having a million butterflies from love dies down with age, what keeps the marriage going is friendship l,  trust and respect.

So, Oga Sir, all I'm trying to yarn is that ehh. I want to be your friend first, then lover and wife.
I can't wait for this to happen but ironically, I can wait because forever is a long time to rush into.

                    Your Worry-Worry Wonder Woman
                     Mc Matiki-Your Surname.

P.S

I cooked one badass beniseed soup, the type I will be using to controlling our mumu button 😉😉

Suspecting MC has gotten someone close to heart..,hmmm

Nigeria Democracy Is For The Rich.

By Egbara Emmanuel 29/05/17  In Nigeria as a country Democracy is a system of government where the political power rests with the nation's population either directly or through elected representatives. According to Abraham Lincoln It is the government of the people, for the people, by the people but in Nigeria Democracy is the government of the rich for the rich and by the rich, From the definition of Abraham one should be able to infer that the purpose of democracy is to build a just society where the interests of all the people are cared for rich and poor, men and women, minorities as well as the majority and the economy works for the benefit of all but in Nigeria the reverse is the case.  Democracy should be about the ordering of society to bring about justice for all but in Nigeria those who loot our common wealth are honoured with National awards why those who steal vegetation are still in prison.  If it does not work for the common good then there is so...

This is an independently owned Nigerian based group with the simple objective of promoting peace, unity and economic growths in Nigeria States. It is obvious that Nigeria is not growing because of high level of corruption, some external factors and divisiveness in the country; however, we are convinced that our recommendations if executed in those areas will start the unifying and healing processes that will definitely promote peace, unity and economic growths. This group will take-off in Cross river state because of the strategic and economic importance of Cross river to Nigeria. The group is well informed of the fact that Nigeria is the heartbeat and oxygen that supplies bloods to many African countries and beyond; all our efforts will be highly centered in Nigeria, because we believed that once we get Nigeria going, h...

THE SHOOTING OF UNICAL STUDENTS BY THE COERCIVE APPARATUS OF THE STATE AT THE ORDER OF CRS COMMISSIONER FOR YOUTHS AND SPORTS; A RASCALITY OF DERAILED GOVERNMENT~Ogar, Emmanuel

Photo credit: Google.com We are saddened and stunned to say the least by the reprehensible and dishonorable act of urban psychosis of the Nigerian Army yesterday being 27th May, 2017 at Murtala Mohammed Highway Calabar by Transcorp Hotel who were dispatched to maintain tranquility and order— but rather opened fire at the protesting students that were panned by the scorching sun in U. J. Esuene stadium without food or water during the Children’s Day programme. We gathered authoritatively from various sources that the students were protesting over the alleged absconding of the money promised them by the governor of Cross River State, Prof. Ben Ayade by the Commissioner for Youths and Sports, Mr. Asu Okang. Three students were reported to have been shot with various degrees of injuries the security operative. These are harmless citizens and students for goodness sake! Having observed and assessed the issue critically, we hereby condemn in its totality this brutish and reckless a...

A MALABITE: SHRUNKEN BY CALIFORNIA CORN FLAKES

Prof. as he’s fondly called was a brainy student who was full of life with the sparkling of youthful agility. He swam across the boisterous and tempestuous Oron River without the fear of its deluge to acquire higher education in the famous University of Calabar— all in the quest of becoming an illustrious son of his family and the immediate society. Sadly, his dreams and the expectations of his people now wallows in the miry clay of psychosomatic oddness. Prof. and most of us were in Unical. We were residents of Malabo Republik (c). I was staying in room 201 in Hall5 that equally housed him. He was in the stock of the core Malabo boys whose aksions (actions) weren’t overlooked though not always reasonable as the slogan were and is, as it stance. ‘Real Malabites and Malabresses (those living in Malabo and female hostels) knew him. His adopted name, Prof. rang like church-bell. In the domain of campus entertainment, he was there to rap like Tupac. When the likes...
