First Phase: Eraye’s wife empowers Youths in skill acquisition.

By Egbara Emmanuel and Stephen Adoga THE Alorye grassroots initiative (AGRI), a nongovernmental organization, set up by the wife of the Cross river State Commissioner for environment, Mrs. Eraye Alorye Andeshi has empowered 36 persons from the various parts of the state to enable them fend for themselves. Mrs. Eraye's latest empowerment was facilitated with support from few good hearted Cross riverians. The beneficiaries, who were trained in various fields, received equipment, which would enable them start up vocations in goods and service delivery, so that they could become self-employed and employers of labour in their various communities.
